Dear Constituents,

As a summer election has all but been confirmed, please find a brief note for what to expect over the coming six weeks.

Election Call

It has been widely reported that Justin Trudeau will request a dissolution of Parliament this Sunday.  If so, Canadians will be going to the polls again for the second time in less than two years. This time, it will occur in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, unprecedented wildfires, and with hundreds of displaced persons in our riding.

It has been the privilege of my professional life to represent Mission—Matsqui—Fraser Canyon in the House of Commons during the 43rd Parliament.  Since my election, I have worked extremely hard to be accessible and open to all voters in our beautiful riding.  I have done my utmost to bring your concerns to the floor of the House of Commons through compassionate and thoughtful speeches.

Here’s a few exchanges that resonated well with you:

Following the expected election call, my Office will not be actively responding to questions of governance, policy, and politics.  If you wish to stay engaged with me during the election, please visit and follow my social media pages or sign up for my other email list which can be found by clicking here

My Office will remain open and ready to serve you if you need assistance with federal matters or programs.  We will continue our work with Lytton First Nation and the Village of Lytton through the campaign.

If you have a case open with my Office, my team will remain available to help you during the writ period.

You’re My Boss

Your input is valued.  I seek to earn your trust and confidence once again.  As always, I can be reached at 604-302-9277.

Sincerely and in good faith,

Brad Vis, MP
