Ottawa, ON – The Hon. Candice Bergen, Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada and the Official Opposition, today announced changes to the Conservative Parliamentary Leadership Team:
- House Leader: John Brassard (Barrie—Innisfil)
- Deputy House Leader and Co-Chair of Question Period Planning: Tom Kmiec (Calgary Shepard)
- Chief Opposition Whip: Blaine Calkins (Red Deer—Lacombe)
- Deputy Whip and Co-Chair of Question Period planning: Lianne Rood (Lambton—Kent—Middlesex)
“I would like to extend my thanks to Gérard Deltell, Blake Richards, Michael Barrett, and James Bezan for all their hard work while serving on the Leadership Team,” said Bergen. “I would also like to congratulate John Brassard, Tom Kmiec, Blaine Calkins, and Lianne Rood on their new roles.”

- Leader à la Chambre : John Brassard (Barrie—Innisfil)
- Leader adjoint à la Chambre et coprésident de la planification de la période des questions : Tom Kmiec (Calgary Shepard)
- Whip en chef de l’opposition : Blaine Calkins (Red Deer—Lacombe)
- Whip adjointe et coprésidente de la planification de la période des questions : Lianne Rood (Lambton—Kent—Middlesex)
