This survey was conducted online in June 2022. In May, the Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada came to an agreement to decriminalize possession of up to 2.5 grams of illicit drugs, including fentanyl. In recent years, BC has witnessed a drastic increase in both illicit drug usage and deaths from overdose.
