This survey was conducted online in June and July 2022. In April 2022, a Joint Committee of the House and Senate began a review of Canada's legislation on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) and it is supposed to consider the issues of mentally ill patients, palliative care, protection of Canadians with disabilities and eligibility of mature minors for MAiD. The review is expected to be completed within one year.
